One hundred posters created by Italian designers and architects will be presented from January 17 to March 2, 2008 at Centre de design de l'Uqam as part of the exhibition "H2O, de nouveaux scénarios pour la survie" (H2O, New Survival Scenarios).
This touring exhibit (it has been presented in Milan, Turin, Rome and Trieste, and will make its way to Toronto and Saragossa) showcases water and the survival of the planet... and more precisely the influence the first has on the second.
Italian architect Roberto Marcatti, the curator, organized the exhibit around various themes: water as public good, water as a good with a cost, and the water war.
Posters vary from humorous to serious, graphic to artisanal, didactic to lighthearted.
