The Wallpaper City Guides, a series that began in 2006 to mark the 10th anniversary of England's famous Wallpaper magazine, are aimed at design and architecture aficionados, and the Montreal guide has just been published.
In the "Urban Life" section, the guide offers a selection of cafés, bars and restaurants. The "Hotels" section points out places to stay while in the city, and even specifies which room is best. The "Architour" section focuses on a list of buildings that symbolise Montreal.
The "24 Hours" section presents the best the city has to offer in one day, while in "Escapes" you can find a list of sites and places of interest located within a three-hour radius of Montreal. Sections on shopping and sports round out the guide, which is published in English only.
To date, about sixty of the most creative cities in the world have been featured in the Wallpaper City Guide series.
