The signature of Montreal agency Guez Communication & Design is on the signs and layout of the new Couche-Tard Menu concept, a self-serve section with fresh food items and healthy prepared meals. With the new set-up in one branch so far, Couche-Tard is expected to develop it in about ten more of its stores in the coming months.
Guez's mandate was to create a dynamic space retaining Couche-Tard's codes and brand identity while symbolizing the freshness and quality of the products offered in this section. Customers are greeted at a central counter, and there are two separate sections, one with standard products and the other with ready-to-eat meals.
To complete the concept, a food advisor will be at each store to help customers make their selection and ensure the origin and freshness of the products.
