The 2008 edition of the Creativity Montreal contest is underway; and retailers, designers and architects have till August 15th to register their creations.
While still loyal to its original mission, the contest is presenting a few new categories this year. Architects and designers are invited to present urban integration projects, including façades and urban furniture, as well as various fixtures that can be architectural, illuminated, temporary or permanent. There is also a separate category for never-materialized projects by students or professionals.
As in previous years, a jury of industry professionals will meet in September to make a first selection among the projects submitted. The pre-selected sites will then be visited, and grand prize winners will receive their awards at the gala in November.
With the Créativité Montréal contest in full swing, Sico is inviting the public to share its opinion on which colours are most inspiring in an on-line contest open to everyone until August 31st. The winner will be revealed at the Créativité Montréal gala.
